Some of you have also been asking what the dates will be for Pack 150 family camping at Camp Carpenter this year because you want to plan vacation schedules and days off together.

Here are the dates:

• Family Camping: August 4th and 5th
• Weeklong Camping: August 5th through the 11th

Hello,

Several of you have asked about other activities and achievements in Cub Scouting. There are other ways that Scouts may learn about new activities, participate in new sports, and learn new crafts and also be rewarded by earning achievements, above and beyond their Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, or Webelos patches.

One great way is through Cub Scout Belt Loops. Your Scouts may have already done most or all the requirements for some of them! The requirements are very simple and usually fairly easily achieved. For example, if you have a Scout who participates in the ESSC Ski program, chances are they have already done enough to earn the Ski Belt loop.
