Cub Scout Pack 150

Hello Everyone,

As you know, our upcoming Pack meeting will be on November 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Pine Tree School. This month’s theme, as outlined in your Den meetings, is Cubs in Shining Armor. This means loads of fun for your young men as we joust, walk in stilts, castle bowl, tilt, and hand out awards to advance scouts.

Popcorn prizes and advancement awards will be handed out to Scouts.

Also, to add flavor to the meeting, you may make some “armor” to go over Scout’s uniforms. It’ll be fun to see what you can come up with! Anyone who has made shields, as I know Den 1 has, is welcome to bring them and “display your heraldic device.” Well, I’m off to raid the cardboard bin!

Hi Everyone, I’m just playing around trying to figure out the best way to get pictures on your web page. Anyone that has pictures from any of our Pack or Den Activities please post a reply and we can figure out a way to get them. Thanks

Put this Date On Your Calenders

Christmas Time is fast approaching. December is such a busy month and no Pack meeting is scheduled.

December 18th at 6:00pm we are meeting as a Pack at the Sunbridge Nursing Home to Sing Christmas Carols and to pass out Christmas Cards. We will have a piano player to accompany us.

I’m asking each den to have their scouts make or buy Christmas cards to pass out after caroling. Last year we made ornaments to hang on their trees.

Class A uniforms are required. Parents and siblings are encouraged to attend. We did this last year, had an excellent turnout, had a good time and the residents of Sunbridge really enjoyed it.

If any Dens are having a meeting prior to Dec 18th a good activity would be the cards as well as making Christmas tree ornaments.

The North Conway Veteran’s Day Parade will begin at 12:15 on November 11, 2006 at John Fuller School. All scouts who want to march in the parade should be in “Class A” uniform, meaning full uniform: hat, neckerchief, Scout shirt, and belt.

• 14: Committee Meeting, 6:30 p.m., Conway Public Library
• 16: Pack Meeting, 6:30 p.m., Pine Tree School (moved to the 30th)
